ABOUT US
At AIM Electrics, we believe in a legacy of craftsmanship, mentorship, and community.
Founded by Steve Ross over 35 years ago, our business is rooted in a tradition of quality marine electrical work. Steve’s dedication to excellence extends beyond just technical expertise; he has mentored countless apprentices, many of whom have become trusted members of our team.
One such apprentice, Jamerson Ross, started as a teenager, learning the ropes and growing into a key partner in the business. Tragically, Jamerson’s life was cut short in 2022 by a hit-and-run accident, a loss that deeply affected all who knew him. Through 1:1 training with Steve, apprentices continue to thrive in our business, carrying forward the same values of integrity, skill, and passion for marine work that Steve instilled in Jamerson and others before him. Jamerson’s legacy continues to inspire, as many of the apprentices he trained have gone on to become highly skilled and qualified electrical technicians.

Meet Our Team

After suffering the loss of losing Jamerson, his mother Chantelle Ross began to realise that there was a dire absence of available resources to help and support people who are grieving.
Through Projex J, Chantelle and the committee aims to provide the grieving community a safe space to be in the company of those who understand one another; to replace isolation with connection. Projex J aims to provide care and support in every capacity we can for those struggling with any type of grief.
If you or anyone you know are suffering from grief, please reach out to Chantelle through their website below.
